An Internship Worth Toasting To
Are you interested in events and looking for an opportunity to learn behind-the-scenes of America on Tap Beer Festivals and other community events? Interns will gain knowledge of event logistics and execution, marketing, booking talent and rentals, research and administrative duties.
This internship for all semesters is based in Saratoga Springs, NY – 40 miles north of Albany.
When are internships available?
Jan – May (Spring) – This is America on Tap’s busiest time of year. Interns will get the chance to work closely with each member of the team to learn every aspect from the planning to being a team leader on-site at the event.
May – August (Summer) – Spend time planning and working on our Fall events. Research and generate ideas to better attendee and brewery experience for the next year. Assist with final planning and on-site execution at summer events.
August – November (Fall) – Similar to our Spring internship but also includes preping for the following year (Jan-May) events.
Hours:
Office hours are very flexible and 15 hours per week is typically required. We’ll meet with you to go over our upcoming event schedule to discuss potential availability and interest for coming on-site to an event. We’ll cover any travel related expenses such as food, gas, hotel, etc.
Internship is unpaid and interns must receive school credit. Must be at least 18 years of age upon the start of the internship.
